Joyetech has become a household name in the vaping world for a couple of years now. They have proven themselves as being an innovative leader in the quest to stay among the top makers and distributors of vaping products. They join the ranks of Aspire and Innokin as leading the way with developing world class vaping hardware.
They did not disappoint in the latest release of temperature control vaping Ego Style Pens. While much of the vaping population have ventured into the world of box mods, Joyetech has made a product which has made the pen style users as well as advanced users happy. We are among the box mod fanatics but have caught ourselves picking up these vaping pens while running out for errands as well as having a vape around the house.
Differences in the Ego One CT & VT
Ego One CT (Constant Temperature) Ego One VT (Variable Temperature)
1. Length-108mm Diameter-19mm Length-142mm Diameter-22mm
2. Battery size- 1100 or 2200mAh Battery Size-2300mAh
3. Output modes-NI, TI, VW Mode Output Modes- NI, TI, VW Mode
4. Resistance- .2 to 1 ohm in CT mode Resistance Range- .2 to 1 ohm in VT mode
.4 to 3.5ohm for CW mode Resistance Range- ..4 to 3.5ohm for VWmode
Both of these devices are great for people who want to try temperature control but are a little confused about the whole process. Each device comes with three coils. One is a 1.0 ohm kanthal coil which you can use vaping in wattage mode. One is a nickel coil at .2 ohm which you will need to set the device to the NI setting and the third is the titanium coil at .4 ohm where you need to set your device to the TI setting. We have found the 1.0 ohm Kanthal coil has very tight airflow and is most suitable to users who prefer a tighter draw and a mouth to lung inhale.
The biggest differences are the size (CT is 19mm, VT is 22mm), the battery power (CT is 1100 or 2200 depending on which version you purchase, while the VT is a 2300 mAh battery) The Variable Temperature device also has more settings. The Constant Temperature mod allows the user to pick the type of coil being used and away you go. Just push the button and vape. It's that easy. The temperature control mod will automatically be set at 470 degrees with the titanium coils and 480 degrees with the nickel coils. The user does not have the ability to turn the power up or down. The Variable Temperature mod allows the user to choose between low, medium or high settings. Low is 430 degrees, Medium is 470 degrees for titanium or 480 degrees for Nickel, and high is 600 degrees. This allows more choices to customize your vape.
With all of this in mind, many of you guys may be confused as to which one to get. First, decide what is most important to you. Is it battery life? Is it the amount of juice the tank will hold? Is it size? Is it customization? If these things are really important to you, you may want to opt for the bigger, more customizable Ego One VT. However, if you want an easy mod you can just pick up and push the button, you may opt for the Ego One CT. Each person is different and I am sure this is the reason Joyetech created both of these devices. They are very similar yet VERY different. We prefer the bigger battery, bigger tank, ability to turn from low to high device. This may not be the case for you. Hopefully this article will help you make that decision.

The CBD treatment I have been on has been from products found at www.yourcbdsource.com
I am not a medical professional. All of my opinions are based on personal experience over the course of 2 months of testing.
Once again I am not a doctor and you should always consult a professional before starting on CBD. I have only listed the benefits I have experienced or witnessed firsthand.
What is CBD? (Per www.yourcbdsourse.com and other sources)
CBD stands for cannabidiol, the most prominent naturally-occurring cannabinoid component found in cannabis that comprises up to 40% of the plant. Cannabidiol is “a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect.” After THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is by far the most studied natural cannabinoid. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered**.
Cannabidiol was first isolated in the 1930s (and further in the 1940s), but its structure and configuration were first fully described decades later—in the 1960s—by Professor Raphael Mechoulam and his team of researchers in Israel. As of early 2014, PubMed.gov, a service of the National Institutes of Health, has indexed over 1,100 peer-reviewed papers on cannabidiol.
Cannabidiol is “a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect,” and may have broad clinical potential for an astonishing spectrum of ailments.**
What I've tested
Your CBD source offers more options and higher concentrates than many other companies on the Internet. I have tested 3 different e-liquids from 2 different lines. 2 from the "Carefree" line which is 100mg CBD (also offered in 50mg) and 100% organic infused e-liquid. Also tested was the "Pure Hemp" line which was 50mg CBD (also offered in different strengths) and has a base of 85%VG 15%PG. All samples were 0mg nicotine.
CBD is a treatment, not an experience. It's not for cloud chasing or pure enjoyment. It's for those who hope to find an alternate way to alleviate an ailment.
I have used multiple tanks and have dripped the ejuice. Of all the tanks the Nautilus works the best, but I have found the ejuice is tough on coils. I have also dripped it and had the same results. The liquid itself is thick and tends to stick on the coils.
My set up at this time is a small rebuildable single coil RDA (The squid) with a resistant of 1.1 ohm with my MVP mod at 11 Watts of power. I find this is my preferred set up. It enables me to change the cotton and burn off the coils or change them easier.
I find all three flavors to be pleasant. The flavor of the eLiquid comes through along with what I can only describe as the smell of the CBD on the exhale. It tastes like it smells ...organic, woody and grassy. It is more prominent with the higher CBD concentrates. Both lines tested are vapeable and I enjoyed them. Taste, as you know, is subjective. :)
The company itself and its webpage has a wealth of information on CBD. They also have great customer service as well as shipping time. After comparing their prices to other CBD eliquids on the market, I have concluded that their prices are competitive and their product is also of high quality.

What's in my Ejuice? This is a question so many of us vapers who have been vaping for months or even years automatically assume everyone already knows. This is far from the truth. The other day while shopping at a local vape shop the question of what was in ejuice came up. The person asking the question was actually a guy around the age of 21 who had recently been hired at the vape shop. Hmm, I guess this was not a question they asked him in the hiring interview. After speaking to him for quite a while we found out he had been vaping for about four months and had never even thought about the ingredients. He was shocked when we told him we even made our own ejuice at home. Just the other day we received a package with all of the ingredients we will be talking about here. This package was actually the DIY starter kit from www.liquidbarn.com and yes, you too can make your very own ejuice. They even created our very own code for our loyal fans! Use code VAPELADIES at checkout for an additional 20% off the entire order!
So this is for you; the people who are just starting out in the vaping journey. Or you, who have been vaping for a while without asking someone the question "What's in my Ejuice?" Ejuice, also known as Eliquid or Vaping juice, is a liquid containing two main ingredients along with additional flavoring and sometimes nicotine. This liquid is used by people who vape. The liquid is put into a device, also known as a vaporizer which turns the liquid into a vapor thus allowing a person to inhale this into the lungs. Many people vape as an alternative to smoking cigarettes. Vaping is not smoking..
Liquid Barn carries a wide assortment of Do It Yourself (DIY) ingredients. They have three main kits for the vaping enthusiast. The liquid kit contains the PG & VG (500ml of each) and an optional 250ml of 48 mg/ml of nicotine for only $17.99. The flavor kit comes with ten 15ml bottles of flavor extracts for only $29.99. The flavors are a wide assortment for any type of vaper. The labware kit contains everything you would need to create your own ejuice such as syringes, gloves, cylinders, bottles, two beakers and an electric mixer for $32.99 or...you can buy the starter kit which contains all of the kits put together for the low price of $63.99. This kit contains enough ingredients to create over 1,400 milliliters of vapable eliquid. This equals out to 90 bottles of 15ml ejuice. Holy Crap!
Most ejuices contain 10-20% flavoring. A majority of the flavors used are quality food grade flavorings which means they have been approved for use in foods and may be consumed. The Liquid Barn has a flavor kit for vapers. It is a set of 10 Liquid Barn flavor concentrates, engineered for eliquid. These flavor concentrates were formulated with vaping in mind. They have excluded as many compounds known to be harmful for inhalation and have been considered the best in the industry.
Liquid Barn has done it right when it comes to making the highest quality ingredients and flavorings for anyone looking to make your own ejuice. We will be making juice until next year with this kit. The starter kit also comes with a laminated instruction guide and a DIY manual so you will never get confused. We are off to make our first batch of Cherry Blossom Tea Rainbow Sherbet Cream Ejuice. This might just be our first Vapeladies Premium Ejuice. Look out Vapers!

The following electronic cigarette and e-liquid company hails all the way from Ireland. The company website is www.rejuiceit.com. We feel fortunate they were able to send their product all the way to the U.S. in a matter of one week from the time we spoke. This is faster than some companies in the U.S. Their customer service is top notch and you can tell they truly care about you. They offer a multitude of ejuice flavors as well as the basic starter kits. They also offer a small selection of clearomizers for anyone wishing to get started on their journey to vaping.
Rejuice was founded in 2013, based in the Institute of Technology, Carlow, Ireland. The flavors are developed and manufactured in conjunction with the institute's Chemistry Department. All of the ingredients are pharmaceutical, manufacturing grade and CE certified/GMP approved. (sounds serious to me) They are sourced from expert and reliable manufacturers in the EU.
Upon entering their online site you instantly are reminded of why you started vaping in the first place. The first thing you see is a nicotine step-down process for those wishing to quit smoking. I know companies here in the United States do not want to portray vaping as a smoking cessation, whereas this Irish business has no qualms about it. They will be the first to tell you how to quit the stinky cigarettes and never have to use them or their vaping products ever again.
Rejuice has developed a proven quit smoking step down program using EU approved pharmacy grade ingredients. There are 3 simple steps. The first would be to check the nicotine level of your cigarettes. The second would be to look at the scale and select the nicotine level equivalent to that on the cigarette packet. The third step is to make that your starting level. You can reduce your nicotine level at your own pace.
The ejuice offered comes in varying levels of nicotine starting at 0 mg going to 0.25, 0.5, 1mg, and up to 24mg in 2mg increments. This lessens the amount of nicotine in smaller portions to allow for a more gradual taper down. This is supposed to make the weaning process easier on you. The claim is that they offer the lowest nicotine strength e-liquid in the world at 0.25mg per milliliter. I personally have never seen any other company offer it that low but I am sure they could if you asked.
Testing of the ejuice took us quite a while. They sent each of us thirty flavors and to get through that many would take anyone six months. Okay, maybe not that long. Not to mention having to vape each one for an extended period. There are three main categories; Tobacco, Mint, and Fruit. I would not consider this premium ejuice due to the fact that most of the flavors are one single, simple flavor.
All of them were sent to us at 70% propylene glycol, 30% vegetable glycerin. Being that we love high VG juices these were very different in that aspect as well. They offer all ejuice in either a 10, 20 or 30 milliliter bottles. The bottles we received were 10 ml plastic bottles with a needle-tip dripper. They were child safety proof, otherwise known as Jaid proof and all necessary warnings are on the labels. The U.S. price is starting at $5.12 for a 10 ml. bottle. They offer free shipping to anywhere in Ireland. Not sure how much shipping would be to ship to the United States.
Jaid received all of hers in 0mg nic and mine were in 18mg nic. The throat hit for the 18 was strong like you would expect and the zero had none at all. It was a good throat hit with no scratchiness at all. The majority of the flavors were fruit flavors. I felt like I had gone into a candy store. Watermelon tastes like a watermelon jolly rancher, strawberry tastes like a strawberry blow pop, grape tastes like grape jolly rancher. The tobacco flavors each had their own distinct flavor which tasted like all sorts of brands of cigarettes or cigars. The mints offered were spearmint and several different menthol flavors. I would recommend telling the owner what brand of cigarettes you smoked and letting him recommend the best tobacco flavor to try.
I definitely give the flavors a high rating due to the fact they were all true to their flavor description. If you are wanting a cloud blowing, mouth-watering flavor extravaganza this is not the company for you. If, however, you are looking for basic one-flavor options this is a great place to start.
Overall, I think Rejuice is a great place for someone wanting to quit smoking by using basic flavors to help them in their quest. They have great customer service and have always answered any questions in a short time period. Check them out on their website and tell them The VapeLadies sent ya.
When I reviewed the Kangertech Subtank Nano a few days ago, I mentioned the sub ohm war. That was a reference to the battle between Kangertech and their new Subtank line and Aspire with their Atlantis tank. Each line comes with 0.5 ohm coils, giving tank vapers the opportunity to experience sub ohm vaping without the need to rebuild coils or take up dripping.
But Kanger has gone one better with the original Subtank and now the Subtank Mini. In addition to packaging these adjustable airflow tanks with both a 1.2 ohm and 0.5 ohm coil, Kanger has included a Mini RBA base. With that rebuildable atomizer the Subtank Mini is truly a hybrid tank, giving vapers the ability to easily switch between the OCC (Organic Cotton Coil) head and the RBA head.
That’s an option that’s not available with the Subtank Nano or the Aspire Atlantis.
The Mini is 510 threaded with a Pyrex tank and stainless steel base and removable drip tip. It has a 4.5 ml ejuice capacity and a diameter of 22 mm. The organic cotton in the OCC heads (and in the package that comes with the Mini for rebuilding) is organic Japanese cotton.
What’s In The Box
• 1 X Subtank Mini
• 1 X OCC 0.5 ohm head
• 1 X OCC 1.2 ohm head
• 2 X RBA 0.5 ohm coils
• 1 X Mini RBA base
• 1 X package of organic Japanese cotton
• 1 X Replacement Pyrex tank
• 1 X Screwdriver
• 2 X Screws
• 3 X O-Rings
• 1 X Owner’s manual
Performance: Kanger packages the Subtank Mini with the 0.5 ohm OCC installed in the tank. I suppose that’s their way of putting this hybrid tank’s best foot forward. The 0.5 ohm coil produces massive amounts of vapor. It’s rated for a range of 15 – 30 watts. Even the 1.2 ohm coil produces an amazing amount of vapor, with rating of 12 – 25 watts. The 0.5 ohm RBA coil is rated at 30 watts, but as you get into rebuilding your own coils you’ll discover the freedom to customize your experience even further by wrapping coils to different ohms ratings.
The organic Japanese cotton further enhances the performance of the Subtank Mini. It provides not only lots of vapor, but pure flavor too, as the cotton doesn’t get in the way of the taste of your ejuice.
Features: I’m not sure how many more features Kanger could have packed into the Subtank Mini, short of supplying more than one each of the 0.5 ohm and 1.2 ohm OCC heads. The Mini RBA makes this tank truly versatile, providing a great introduction to rebuilding for tank vapers.
And there is that enhanced adjustable airflow system that allows you to further customize your vaping experience. The airflow system has four settings; fully closed, one air port, two air ports and fully opened. An additional feature that I really appreciate is that Kanger has etched the ohm rating and suggested wattage range into each OCC head, so you’ll always know which coil you’re using.
Quality: Kangertech has built a solid, dependable tank with the Subtank Mini, from its strengthened Pyrex glass tube to the stainless steel components and the easy to adjust airflow system. When you twist that airflow ring there’s an audible “click” when you hit each setting, and you can feel that click as well as hear it.
It’s the quality of the OCC heads that really makes the Subtank Mini a standout. With the limited amount of time I’ve spent with this tank, the OCC heads have performed amazingly. The organic cotton combined with the low resistance of the coils produces loads of warm, tasty vapor.
There are two things you need to be aware of before you purchase a Subtank Mini. Neither is a negative, but if you don’t know about them ahead of time you may find yourself disappointed.
The first is that not every mod is going to be capable of firing the Subtank Mini, even with the 1.2 ohm OCC installed. I most often use an Eleaf iStick. That will fire the 1.2 ohm OCC, but since the iStick maxes out at 20 watts, and the 1.2 ohm coil is rated up to 25 watts, I’m not going to be able to push that coil as far as it can go with the iStick. And the iStick won’t fire the 0.5 ohm coil at all. To use the 0.5 ohm OCC I had to borrow my wife’s Dovpo E-Mech, which has an upper end output of 30 watts, right at the limit of the 0.5 ohm OCC and the Mini RBA coil.
The other thing you need to be aware of is that the organic Japanese cotton can not be dry fired. Doing so will burn that cotton right up, spoiling your OCC or causing you to do another rebuild on the RBA. Kanger suggests that you place a few drops of ejuice directly on the cotton of whichever coil you’re using before you vape to ensure you’re not going to burn it up. And that cotton seems to hold the flavor of an ejuice a little longer than other coils when you’re changing flavors. I find that dripping a couple of drops of the new ejuice directly into the coil helps.
Looks: This is one good looking tank. Lots of stainless steel and Pyrex. The square shape of the OCC heads is clearly visible behind the Pyrex. And the red O-rings provide a nice contrast. Kangertech recently announced that they’ll be selling different colored O-rings so you can personalize the looks of your Subtank Mini. The drip tip has an extra wide opening, enhancing the looks and the amount of vapor you can pull through the tank.
Price/Value: When Kangertech sent me the Subtank Mini for this review, it wasn’t available at retail. In the last few days I’ve started to see them in a couple of local vape shops and online. The Kangertech website has the Mini listed at $49.90. One of our partner online suppliers, American eLiquid Store, recently got a shipment in and has them listed at $39.99, which makes them eligible for free shipping.
One of the things you have to consider when purchasing a new tank is the cost of the coils. Kangers says that the OCC heads are “durable,” but doesn’t say how long they’re supposed to last. Between my wife and myself, we’ve been vaping on one of the 0.5 ohm and 1.2 ohm OCC heads for well over a week with no signs of wear. American eLiquid Store has the replacement OCC 5-packs listed at $14.99, which works out to about $3 a coil. That’s a little more than some other coils, but given the performance of the OCC heads, and the fact that I haven’t had to change one yet, that’s a price I’m willing to pay.
With all of the features, options for personalizing, and the inclusion of the RBA head, the Subtank Mini is a tremendous value. Now, if you have no interest in rebuilding, you can get the same OCC head performance for a few dollars less with the Subtank Nano, which doesn’t include the RBA head.
Kangertech has really solidified its already strong reputation as a premiere tank maker with the Subtank Mini and the whole Subtank line. I don’t hesistate to recommend the Subtank Mini to any vaper of intermediate or above experience, especially those who have been considering rebuilding. For new vapers the Subtank line may be a little more than you need, but if you’re ready to take your vaping experience to the next level, go ahead and give one of them a try.
Just remember that you’ll need a mod that’s capable of firing at least the 1.2 ohm OCC. But hey, why not go ahead and pick up a new 30+ watt mod when you get the Subtank Mini? You can never have too much vape gear.
I tested the Subtank Mini on a Dovpo E-Mech and Eleaf iStick with a variety of juices, and got the purest flavor I’ve experienced out of all of them. Kangertech provided the Subtank Mini for the purpose of this review.
